As our in person Hattiesburg Transfer Orientations have come to an end for the fall semester, all students are now directed to register for a Private Enrollment Appointment (PEA). PEAs allow students to connect directly with their advisor virtually to finalize their fall enrollment. Once a student has registered for a PEA on SOAR, they will be contacted directly by an advisor via their USM email to find a time to get enrolled in classes. Students can expect to hear from advisors within two-business days of registration.

Orientation fees are nonrefundable and must be paid upon registration.

Student Fee: $35 (includes print material)

Please note: All new students are charged $100 for UNV 100, which is a required course for all new students. This fee is not the same as the fee to attend Orientation. The Office of Leadership and Student Involvement coordinates UNV 100.
