The Film Club aims to support and collaborate with filmmakers within ½ûÂþÌìÌà Miss Gulf Park campus. This club creates and promotes filmmaking and its processes in a friendly manner.

Fins & Flippers promotes awareness, education, and enjoyment of aquatic life and water-based activities, including marine biology outreach, swimming, snorkeling, and diving opportunities for students.

The Jogging Club creates an environment for students to gather for outside jogs and participate in organizational runs. This group educates members on health topics and running events.

MEGSA provides a forum for professional and social fellowship at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory (GCRL), working to exchange ideas in marine science research amongst graduate students, and proudly hosts and participates in community outreach and volunteer events.

The Oyster Club promotes the appreciation and support of off-bottom oyster farming through hands-on learning, professional development, and community engagement. We bring students with diverse interests: scientific, environmental, cultural, and business to foster collaboration in aquaculture, sustainability, and the seafood industry.

Psi Chi-Gulf Coast Chapter is an International Honors Society for Psychology majors and minors. Students must have a minimum of 9 credits hours of psychology courses and have received a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be invited to apply to be a member of Psi Chi. Our Psi Chi chapter holds an induction ceremony in the spring semester each year and organizes several service, fund-raising, and community events every year.

National honors society for English students. ½ûÂþÌìÌà Miss Gulf Park houses the Alpha Pi Eta Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor's Society, which has over 800 chapters worldwide. The stated goals of the organization are to promote literacy and the study of literature. You do not have to be an English major to join.

The Student Oceanographic Society (SOS), is a graduate student organization located on the Stennis teaching site, is an organization committed to providing a support network and encouraging professional development for all Marine and Hydrographic Science graduate student at The Univeristy of ½ûÂþÌìÌà Mississippi. In addition, we will facilitate communication pathways between the students, faculty, and staff of the Division of Marine Science.
